Buy women's clothing online in Pakistan at Al Tijarah International. In practice this collection is shalwar kameez: stitched and unstitched suits in 2-piece and 3-piece sets, with only a handful of western and casual pieces alongside them.
The fabrics are lawn, cotton lawn, dobby lawn, khaddar, linen, polo cotton, viscose, dhanak, organza, chiffon, grip silk and raw silk. The work ranges from digital and dobby prints to embroidery, chikankari, gota, lace and sheesha or mirror work. A 3-piece set is shirt, trouser and dupatta — chiffon, organza, crinkle or printed lawn, and on winter dhanak suits a pashmina dupatta or wool shawl. A 2-piece set is shirt and trouser, or shirt and dupatta on the chiffon gota piece. Colours cover black, blue, green, maroon, beige, ivory, lilac, teal, mustard and hot pink. Stitched suits are ready to wear; unstitched is fabric by the piece for your own darzi. Outside the suits there is a floral knit pullover, a fleece hoodie and pants set, a printed T-shirt, a cotton tracksuit and a camisole set.
Decide between stitched and unstitched first, because they are not interchangeable. Stitched suits come in a standard cut and a short size run, so check the listing measurements against your own rather than assuming your usual size; they are quicker, but the fit will never be as close as tailoring. Unstitched gives the better fit, but you pay a darzi on top and wait for the work, and the trouser length is fixed by the yardage — check it if you are tall. On embroidered lawn the colour often reads a shade different in daylight than on screen. Heavy embroidery, mirror work and gota are occasion wear and need dry cleaning or careful hand washing, not the machine, and dhanak and pashmina suits are winter weight that will be too warm from April onwards.
Suits are sent cash on delivery all across Pakistan — Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar and Quetta among them. Delivery is a flat Rs 200 per order, whatever you buy. Orders leave us within 1-2 working days and usually arrive in 3-6 working days. If a suit arrives damaged or incorrect, we offer a 7-day replacement.
